Sheesh gramps!
Suprise suprise… your grandparents can’t decide what to call themselves….at first it was “Ma” and “Pa” but that is what we call them… and then it was “Granny” but that doesn’t suit her.. and then there was “Grandma” but mum had an evil “Grandma” so thats out the window. And “Nanna” was dads mum and “Nan” was mum’s mum.. and there is only one Nanna and one Nan…haha they were characters thats for sure! Then there is “Pop” and “Poppy” but that was my Uncle Peter..who is dads brother and dad doesnt want to be the same… and “Grandad” was Dad’s Dad…so its all a bit confusing!
Now mum wants to make up a name… like “Gram” or “Grammy” which to me is a unit of measurement and an award… not a name silly Clare!
Maybe we should just stick to Daisy and Onslow.. heehee they’d love that!!!
I actually legitimately have no idea how that name stuck… but it did!! :)
