Peanut’s First Picture!!
Well we had our first ultrasound on Friday afternoon (after I told my boss about Peanut - foof that was scary but he was awesome about it so that was good!) and it was soooooo exciting!!
Before I show you the picture - I have to say - curse Pittwater Radiology for having one of these in their waiting room:
Because I, after having the required amount of water for the ultrasound was not allowed to pee and was BUSTING by the time I got there for our 4pm appointment - something that my darling nicholas took great delight in. Poking proding tickling ensued followed by repeated trips to the water cooler to drink as much water as loudly as possible in front of me.. in fact .. pouring the water into his mouth from 30cm above his head…. all in an effort to make me pee my pants. Lovely, jusssst lovely!
Anyway! Then we went in and I was beside myself with excitement.. everytime the lady asked me a question my answer came out in a high pitched squeal rather than an adult voice… and she put the goo on my tummy and started poking around and WHAMMY there was peanut up on the screen bouncing around like a maniac… it was like they had the hiccups at the same time as bouncing on a giant trampoline! Arms and legs in the air waving around swimming! We reckon they will be a pretty good swimmer when they pop out.. but by the amount of activity going on in there I think peanut is going to keep us very busy! Im excited for when I can actually feel them moving around.. but I am also dreading it as I am sure I am going to get punched and kicked for months on end! Goodbye sleep!
So here we go… time to meet the one and only … PEANUT HILL!!!

Pretty cool huh! Soy tiny - no wonder they can’t see what sex they are yet!
Peanut your Dad and I were laughing hysterically at you bouncing around inside me! We had huge goofy grins on our faces the whole time! You’re pretty funny, just so you know lil one.
Can’t wait til I can feel you and can’t wait to see you again soon.. just another month or so and we can start shopping for you!! Hope you like red Peanut… it seems Im a little bit obsessed with everything red for you no matter if you are a boy or a girl!
