New Place, New Look?
Peanut Nicholas Batman and I have made the move from Brookvale to Narrabeen…. a 30 minute north change where the traffic noise and rants of our mentally unstable neighbour have been replaced by birds and the breeze through the trees. We have sacrificed internal space for outside space and have a studio flat with a huge garden, instead of a modern 2 bedder with sexy floorboards. But it has been a great move - apart from the moving part! That was disgusting! blerk!
So we now have a veggie patch that is happily sprouting away which is great, very rewarding. We look forward to buying Peanut some oversized gumboots so they can get in there and help.
Oh and did I mention my favourite piece of gardening equipment? My fun bright red watering can - obsessed!!!
Ummm yep so we wer loving our new place, nice and close to friends, family and work.
But the new place makes me want to redecorate!!! And after repainting the salmon coloured walls (blerk) white we have a blank canvas….and I am moving away from the dark reds and oranges a bit… and love fresh greens that blend in well with the green garden and trees. But foof I would loooooooooooooooove to get some of this action going on… I LOVE IT!!
I know I can get lino that pattern from bunnings….. hmmmmm perhaps a cheap overhall would be fun this weekend!!
