“Ummm… it’s pretty obvious what this little one is!”
Those were the words of your ultrasound technician on Friday little P, closely followed by:
“he has been showing it off and playing with it this whole time…”
GREAT! Your one of THOSE boys already Peanut… sheesh… gonna have to teach you right from the get go that if you play with it it’ll fall off!
From the ultrasound we learnt the following:
- you are a cheeky little monster, already taking after your dad, refusing to show us your little fingers, insisting on keeping them in little tough boy fist showing of your guns to the pretty ultrasound lady.
- you have a beautiful curve in your spine, so all is good there.
- you arms, legs, fingers and toes are all there and exactly the right size for your age
- your kidneys, brain and lungs are all growing nicely and functioning well.
- your heart beat is nice and strong and consistent at the right pace for your age.
- you have inherited the Clayton Mouth that your uncle Jojo, uncle dave, mum and grandpa all have
- you dont have a cleft lip
- you have inherited your uncle jojo’s forehead (good luck to mummy getting that out in a few months - good grief get the forceps ready!)
- you have inherited your uncle dave’s ADD because you were wiggling and spinning and twisting and somersaulting the whole time we were watching you. Then when we needed you to actually move for your pics right at the end you were all pooped out and curled up and went to sleep! cheeky little thing you are!
So overall very amusing and successful ultrasound!

Im sure you will be nice and strong and chubba soon mr P. the ultrasound lady even said that she sees a lot of little alien bubbas and “In all honesty, this little guy is one of the cutest” so Im gonna pretend that she doesnt tell everyone that about their little aliens. just you lil peanut, cos your the bestest!
